GRIEF!
Blog entry by admin posted 2025-05-09 07:40:01

Grief is the agony you feel inside when you've lost someone. We all grief in different ways.  Some cry for days and withdraw from the world  into their own corner for a long time.. Sorrow, anger, confusion and emptiness are all natural reactions to death. However, when these low feelings last for a very long time, it may be worth seeking additional support. Of course, there is no 'normal' length of time for bereavement. In fact, bereavement never really 'ends'. It's not as if we go through all these stages and then come out the other side all shiny and new and ready to get back on with life. Sometimes all it takes is a certain date, a place, or a song, for all of that grief to come surging back.

. This morning, a radio station was playing "Sweet Mother" and the memories of my mum dancing to this african music started coming back! Missing my mum dearly...the pain never goes away. R.I.P. ~Ama.

"I've suffered severe depression over the last 3 years of my life due to the death of my childhood friend... I've known him since I was 16 years. Life without him is  unbearable."  ~Maame Serwaa.

If only we could give to Life, just a Fraction of the Attention, we normally give to the Dead, it will be nice...
Unfortunately and in certain societies, the dead is shown more love and attention that has never be enjoyed in a Lifetime...
Every Second of  our Life is as Precious as Life itself! Let's show each other love.
