Let's encourage each other to take at least 30 minutes a day to get up and walk.
 A great way to raise awareness of the importance of physical activities is to get your family and friends to get started on a healthier way of life......
Let's all start  together  now...walking our children to school instead of driving, cycling to work, skipping and running or jogging.

Understanding Blood Pressure Readings

Blood pressure is typically recorded as two numbers, written as a ratio like this:
Systolic
The top number, which is also the higher of the two numbers, measures the pressure in the arteries when the heart beats (when the heart muscle contracts).

Diastolic

The bottom number, which is also the lower of the two numbers, measures the pressure in the arteries between heartbeats (when the heart muscle is resting between beats and refilling with blood).
