Instead of us focusing on a date for Jesus return, the Lord is urging us to set our hearts on His promise that will be fulfilled. We are called to live for Him in this present age “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).

I may be hurting, But I am HIS, I may be reluctant, but I am HIS, I may be lonely, but I am HIS, I may be frustrated, but I am HIS, That’s why I am praising Him, because I’m glad He tied me up. He stopped me from doing the things I would have done, that would’ve messed up myself. When I look at how my friends got loosed, I thank Him for tying me up. When I look at how the neighborhood boys are locked up in jail, I thank Him for tying me up. I am not happy about it then, but I’m glad about it now. Dear God, I thank You that my path is growing brighter and brighter.
I pray for divine connections and good friendships in my life.
Lord, let Your Peace continually dwell in our hearts. 
Lord, help me to fix my mind on whatever is true, whatever is just, whatever is kind and forgiving, whatever is gracious and worthy of Your Praise. I refuse to cast away my hope and confidence in Your Word and I thank You for giving me the strength and ability to face all challenges and win. 
May I thank You for giving me patience and making me resilient in the face of diverse tests and trials. I know my tomorrow will always be greater than my yesterday and today in Jesus' Name. Amen!
