Rejoice not over me, O my enemy;
     when I fall, I shall rise;
when I sit in darkness,
  the Lord will be a light to me.

God's love is very personal toward you. It doesn't matter where you've been, it doesn't matter what you've done, it doesn't matter what you've experienced - God loves you. It doesn't matter what you have thought about yourself or what other people may have said about you - God loves you. This is what God says about you! You are honored, you are precious in His eyes (Isaiah 43:4). Isn't that an amazing thing?

Isaiah 49:16 says God loves you so much that He engraved your name on the palm of His hand. Matthew 10:30 says He loves you so much that He knows how many hairs are on your head. Psalms 56:8 says He loves you so much that He saves your tears in a bottle. Jeremiah 31:3 says He loves you with an everlasting love.

It's not really our job to change ourself. It's our job to agree with God and to stay in the Word in that area. As you feed yourself with the Word of God, that spiritual part of you will get stronger than that fleshly part of you and God will give you victory.

I believe that one of the greatest tragedies in life is not to enjoy every single moment that God has given us.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. ~Galatians 5:6

Let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.

~Galatians 5:16

Are you open to listening to what the Holy Spirit has to say?
 It's difficult to know when it is the Holy Spirit leading you, but there are several discernible ways.
First, you are open to guidance.
Second, you are ready to obey what the Holy Spirit guides you to do even if it is outside of your comfort zone.
Third, you know the difference between your feelings and the promptings of the Holy Spirit. So, let the Holy Spirit guide your life.

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groaning's that cannot be expressed in words.
 ~Romans 8:26

Don't know how to pray or unsure of what to say?
Don't worry, just spend time with God and count on the Holy Spirit to pray on your behalf. Talking with God is an important part of a growing spiritual life.
Do you forget to pray regularly?
Share your thoughts with God while you do a daily habit such as brushing your teeth.
This will help jump start your prayer life. Or write down your prayers in a journal to detail out your thoughts.

91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

m16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
