Whoever is coming against me, Angela is coming against God. The battle is not mine but the Lords! He will fight for me! I declare that every demonic agent on assignment against me, will be scattered in the name of Jesus. Let every obstacle be destroyed!

Dear Lord, like David, I need your encouragement in a time of trial and anguish. Thank you that you are always on the throne, always my God, ready to save. Thank you for being the same God to me that you were to David. Thank you for always being near and always rescuing me from my fears and hurts. Lord, help me remember that daybreak might be just ahead, that this trial will not last forever. Fill me with hope that daybreak is coming and that your love will always prevail! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

My Lord will perfect that which concerns me. Your mercy, Oh Lord endures forever. Amen.

Samson's parents had known the secret of Samson's strength since his birth, yet they told no one (Judges 13:5). The day Delilah heard of it, she told Samson's enemies and brought Samson down to ordinary (Judges 16:17,18) THREE LESSONS: 1. Because, some cannot handle it, and others cannot wait to trade your secret for personal gain! 2. The enemy that will destroy you, will not come with a sword but with a smile! 3. Learning to keep your friends' secrets is not only about trust, but destinies are at stake. Nothing can be more dangerous and painful than to share your secrets with your enemy thinking they are your friends! BE SOBER AND VIGILANT ABOUT "FRIENDS" God be with you! Let’s Learn from our mistakes!

OBEDIENCE FROM A SOFT HEART..... June 08, 2021 Jonah 4 What most people know about Jonah is that he was swallowed by a big fish while trying to run from God. But the portion of the story that’s often overlooked is what happened after the prophet obeyed. He eventually went to Nineveh to warn the people of divine wrath, and they responded by turning away from wickedness. Their response should have made Jonah ecstatic, but because Nineveh and Israel were enemies, he became angry over their repentance and God’s mercy on them. Being trapped inside a fish may have convinced Jonah to obey God’s command, but his heart had not changed. He still desired the Ninevites’ destruction, and his bitterness and reluctance showed through in spite of his righteous actions. God is not fooled by good behavior that springs from a hard heart. Obeying Him with an unwilling spirit may achieve His purpose, but we lose the joy of our reward. Perhaps the Lord has called you to serve Him in a way that is personally challenging. As you commit to following His will, pray also for a soft heart. You will find peace and blessing in doing the work when you follow Him with a humble spirit.

My Hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and His righteousness. Amen!

LESSONS FROM THE PROPHET JONAH Jonah 1:- If you’ve ever tried to ignore the Lord’s commands or silence the Holy Spirit’s conviction, you’ve probably learned the same lesson Jonah did. He disliked God’s instructions and attempted to avoid the unwanted assignment by running away. But He soon discovered that you can never outrun God. Rebellion toward our heavenly Father often takes one of two forms: a bold outright refusal to obey His instructions or a more passive approach of quietly pursuing our own agenda while disregarding biblical commands we don’t like. Whichever route we take, we can’t silence God. His Spirit’s conviction will follow us—even if we fill life with distractions to help us ignore Him. What we must understand is that God is willing to pursue us, and that can involve stripping away diversions and bringing negative consequences to get our attention. He is a loving heavenly Father who disciplines us if we continue down the road of disobedience. The Lord is always with you, but whether your relationship feels tense or peaceful depends on your willingness to do what He says. Let’s use Jonah’s example as encouragement to obey promptly rather than waste time running away and suffering the consequences.

SUNDAY REFLECTION: TRUE TO NATURE June 06, 2021 To get the most out of this devotion, set aside time to read the Scripture referenced throughout. Many of us ascribe a positive meaning to the word natural, whether in reference to talent, a warm friendship, or even fresh produce. But when it comes to our thoughts, the natural course isn’t always best. Consider your initial response to conflict—for many, it’s anger or fear. Or do you recoil when someone looks and acts differently than you expect or prefer? Such “natural” reactions aren’t aligned with God’s heart. Fortunately, these instincts and reactions don’t necessarily indicate who we are. For Christians, they can instead serve as reminders of Adam and Eve’s grave mistake (Genesis 3) and how it forever changed humankind, birthing each of us into a state of sin. Let such tendencies bring to mind who we once were and how God is working on us now. Yes, in Christ we are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), but a struggle continues between old flesh patterns and our new nature (Rom. 7:15-25). Becoming who God created us to be is a lifelong process­, which often occurs in small moments as we choose love over every other thing. Think about it • Did anything happen recently that revealed the struggle between the old and new you? How can those moments be an opportunity to let God work in your life.
